Remember the fabric samples I got from the closing of Miss Talulahs? Well I was inspired to rePURSEd (a very bad pun on repurpose) them! I used the large samples to make the purse, lining and straps, then used the smaller swatches for pockets (check out the minky, mmmm) and the jersey swatches to make the animals. I came up with the button on a strap idea somehow and I really like that little uniqueness it gives to the whole thing. Here they are:

And MORE fabric!!!

I love fabric. I found some interesting linen on eBay recently and it came in the mail yesterday, how fun! Nothing like a good find.

Then, on my way home from work yesterday I stopped at a little boutique that is closing and they were selling their fabric samples from the House Inc. bedding line so I snatched up six pieces in coordinating colors, very shabby chic type color line, which I also love but isn't that popular right now. I think it will make adorable baby clothes! I'm even thinking of incorporating the marker names written on the fabric. Each piece is about the size of a fat quarter, 18x20 inches. They were $3.00 a piece so I didn't buy more than six.
